About All Vets USA
Through our passion for veteran’s causes, we have witnessed many charitable organizations doing remarkable work for our veterans. We have seen the amount of devotion and time the staff and volunteers put into changing veterans lives – things like making sure there’s a room with a bed and TV, creating a learning center with new computers with training, providing a gym with fitness classes, feeding the hungry, counseling those in need to name just a few. Good people rolling up their sleeves to help those in need of assistance.
It didn’t matter what day it was, the generosity of heart and spirit of these humanitarians was intense. We were invited to hand out coats, clothing and donated food at love park, in Philadelphia, on Christmas day and Thanksgiving Day. We were touched by countless acts of kindness. We decided to help those organizations provide such essential services to our veterans.
It is such a rewarding feeling knowing your contributions matter. As we learned more about these organizations, there was an awareness that the need for two types of contributions exist and are essential to the giving process. Those that physically do the good deeds, and those that provide the funding that makes the good deeds possible.
All Vets USA was created to raise much needed funds that will be distributed to 501(c)(3) organizations providing hands on services to veterans whose efforts are essential to veterans who have given so much of their lives to make our way of life possible. We knew we wanted to help those organizations who touch a veteran’s soul one at a time.
ALL VETS USA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) application.
CO-FOUNDER / BOARD MEMBER
Randy is a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran with 69 combat and combat support missions in the Gulf of Tonkin. Randy is a Firing Party Leader, Ordinance Officer and life member of Guardians of the National Cemetery, Washington Crossing National Cemetery providing a final salute and tribute to our veterans. He is the Commander for the American Veterans (AmVets) Post 273 and the Vice Commander of American Legion Pennypack Post 800, as well as a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America and Disabled Veterans of America. He is married to his wife Linda of over 40 years, with one daughter.

Jody Lang Bender
CO-PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Jody served as President of The League of Women Voters of Philadelphia in 2014-2015 and as a Board Director since 2005. In 2013 she was also voted to a Board Director position on the PA League of Women Voters, proudly serving on both the local and state level. Jody served on The American Red Cross Advisory Board of Bucks County, 2011. She is currently a member of: The Pennsylvania Society, Pen and Pencil Club, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

Charles Bender is a partner at Fox Rothchild, LLP, where he practices law in the Taxation and Wealth Planning department. He helps clients plan their estates to accomplish the transfer of their assets to their families as smoothly as possible. He has experience in charitable income, estate and gift tax planning, and has created and represented many tax-exempt organizations, such as All Vets USA, Inc.

After many years as an executive in the consumer products industry, I now own and operate Touching Hearts at Home which provides non medical in home care to people with illnesses, disabilities, or who are dealing with the progressive changes that come with aging.
Michael P. Williams, Esq.
Michael P. Williams, Esq., received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1996. Originally from Compton, California, and at one point in his life, homeless, Mr. Williams graduated magna cum laude from Temple University in 1993 with a degree in French Studies. Mr. Williams was formerly a labor and employment associate at Montgomery, McCracken, Walker and Rhoads, LLP, and formerly the Deputy Director of Community Legal Services, Inc. While Mr. Williams worked for Montgomery McCracken, he served as Fund Counsel for District 1199C’s Legal Defense Fund.
I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy working in the acute care unit at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. I’ve always had a strong desire to help veterans and have personally participated in many activities to raise funds for veterans including Tough Mudder runs.
BOARD ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in strategic planning, set fundraising goals and develop event strategies for achieving them.
- Create the selection and vetting process for funding veterans organizations.
- Determine the system for distribution of funds to the selected veterans organizations on an annual basis.
- Establish a vision for growth, awareness, operational and annual plans.
- Attend regularly scheduled Board meetings via Zoom or Skype, Conference Call or in person.
- Attend designated fund raising events.
- Help promote events and introduce potential donors to our organization.
- Acknowledge contributions received from donors.
- All Board members will be responsible for an annual “give or get” contribution.
- Board terms are generally three years, however, one third of the initial Board terms will be for either one year or two years so that they will not all expire on the same year.
We have come across some remarkable organizations who have great people with boots on the ground providing the much needed services that truly help our veterans. ALL VETS USA wants to step in to provide the financial support to these organizations who need all the help they can get to continue helping our veterans. We hope you will help us make this happen.
